As the Neighborhood Director at Wingate Residences at Needham, I have the privilege of overseeing our Memory Care Community and ensuring that our residents live their best lives with joy, empowerment, and motivation. For over four years, Michael Leidig has been an integral part of our community, bringing his incredible talent and warmth to our residents through his mesmerizing performances.
Michael is not just an amazing performer; he is an extraordinary person. His piano playing is nothing short of beautiful, blending various techniques and styles that captivate and inspire everyone in the room. He shares stories that resonate deeply with our residents, creating an atmosphere of connection and engagement.
What truly sets Michael apart is his dedication to knowing his audience. He knows each of our residents by name, and he takes the time after each performance to connect with them personally. His genuine care and attention make everyone feel special, and his presence brings a sense of joy and wonder to our community.
Michael Leidig is a blessing and a remarkable individual, and we are incredibly fortunate to have him perform at Wingate Residences. His contributions go beyond entertainment; he enriches the lives of our residents and leaves a lasting impact on all of us. We are grateful for Michael and look forward to many more years of his wonderful performances.
Michael’s 1st appearance at the Dedham Council on Aging was in September 2022. The response was overwhelmingly positive resulting in requests for regular concerts every quarter. Michael’s delightful performances—a combination of unique piano medleys and storytelling—resonate with the audience and always result in a large turn out often filling every seat!
